Lots going on lately and not enough time to blog! Here are a few updates, Our beautiful Red Lionheads we recently added are coming along, we have had one litter of 4 so far out of little Reba. We have a couple more Broken Jersey Woolies, can't wait to start getting Woolies in Chocolate, Lilac, & Broken! We are cutting back on our Lionheads but kept a gorgeous little Black Tort doe out of Kia. Riot Girl is the smallest lionhead we have raised at our rabbitry! High hopes for her, looking forward to taking her to some shows now that Lionheads are officially a recognized breed by the ARBA!

Looking forward to SPRING!

More updates. More babies. And more Coming. We've sold 7 of our Lionhead babies this week, only one more left to go! Ivy, our Jersey Wooly kindled 6 healthy babies on 2/25/13. We are pretty confident that we have 3 Siamese Sables, 1 Smoke pearl, 1 Lilac Seal, and 1 Chocolate Seal. We are getting a little Blue Jersey Wooly buck from a friend of ours to produce more typey babies, and we have been thinking about possibly keeping a doe from one of these Wooly litters. So many rabbits. We will be needing to reduce the herd to make some more room for our new comers!

COLOR COMPARISON: Smoke Pearl, Lilac, Chocolate, and Siamese Sable

We Should be having a couple more Lionhead litters here soon, we bred Cimmaron's Lola Rockstar (Black Tort) and Sweet Cheek's Bella (Sable Point) to Rose's Rabbitry's Harley (Lilac). They will both be due at the end of March!

Bentley and Bunny!

Kiya and Bentley Playing in the snow!

Our new Golden Retriever puppy Bentley got to meet some of the bunnies today! We took them out in the snow to play and got some cute shots. Kiya was very curious and didn't mind the huge puppy at all. Kiya's mane is growing in very nicely, her face is so fluffy you can hardly see her eyes. Bentley really likes the bunnies, a little too much perhaps..... Lets hope he grows to like them when he gets older, he is going to be a big dog!

Bunnies are friends. Not food ;)

Updates!

We will be adding a new breed to our rabbitry, we love the wool breeds like Lionheads and have decided on Jersey woolies! And possibly expand on our Dwarf Hotots as soon as we have more room! We are thinking about changing up our rabbitry name because of this, say hello to Wasatch Hills Rabbitry! We are getting a pair of woolies in a few weeks and also adding acouple Lionheads from Dunlopped Safari, can't wait!
